8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit to discuss halal production and consumption
Did you know this year, the 8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit will be attended by experts and investors in the Halal industry?
8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit will be held from 25-28 November 2021 in Istanbul Congress Centre, Istanbul-Turkey in association with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Standards and Metrology for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).
Last year, the event was held in a hybrid format with both offline and online international participation, bringing more than 9000 visitors from 55 different countries.
This year, the event will be in-person under the theme of “New Era & New Normals: Necessity of Halal Production and Consumption”.
Drawing attention to the importance of healthy lifestyle in the current conditions, Mr. Yunus Ete, President of the World Halal Summit Council said, “We are renewing and improving the way of doing business during the Covid-19 outbreak. These days when the pandemic continues, it is vital to follow the hygiene rules more carefully and keep up with the healthy lifestyle. The whole world is now trying to access safe products and services. Although it is a common thought that Halal is only for Muslims, non-Muslim people are now also in search of Halal certified products due to their safety and healthiness. Within the framework of 8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit, we aim at bringing together the major players and investors in the Halal sector. At the venue, we will take all the necessary measures to protect the health of our guests by keeping our preparations at the highest level”.
